John Major Visits Surrey

East Surrey Conservatives welcomed former Prime Minister Sir John Major to their annual dinner on October 21st. His entertaining and informative speech encompassed a number of topical issues such as the Coalition, the economy, foreign policy, Europe, and of course his love of cricket ! The audience appreciated his frank and forthright views.
Sir John answered questions on a wide variety of subjects and from members of all ages, including pupils from Caterham School and was pleased to donate a bottle of House of Commons whisky to the auction signed by himself and David Cameron.
